Deadly Motorcycle Crash Updates

Recent Incident

APPLE VALLEY - A motorcyclist who was seriously injured in an Apple Valley crash on September 22, 2022 has died. The victim, Brian Brubber Boser, 37, of Pierz, MN, was injured when his motorcycle collided with an SUV on Galaxie Avenue. Boser was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.

The Apple Valley Police Department is investigating the crash. No further information is available at this time.

December 28, 2023

Around 247 PM on Thursday, December 28, 2023, the Apple Valley Police and Fire Department were called out for a two-vehicle injury crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV. The crash occurred on Galaxie Avenue near 150th Street. The motorcyclist, a 17-year-old Apple Valley boy, was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the SUV, a 56-year-old Apple Valley woman, was also transported to Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Apple Valley Police Department is investigating the crash. No further information is available at this time.

A 17-year-old Apple Valley boy remains in critical condition after he was injured in a two-vehicle collision that killed his mother, Cheryl Moyer, 56, on Memorial Day weekend.

The crash occurred around 6:20 p.m. on Galaxie Avenue near 150th Street. The boy was driving a motorcycle when he collided with an SUV.

Moyer was a passenger on the motorcycle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The boy was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. He remains in critical condition.

The driver of the SUV, a 37-year-old Apple Valley man, was not injured.

The Apple Valley Police Department is investigating the crash.
